For some strange reason in today’s times one thing which has become more expensive than fuel charges is the cost of kindness and compassionate.

* Our Prophet of Islam Muhammad peace be upon him once said “Do you love your Creator? Then love your fellow beings first.”

* In Christian bible Matthew 25:40 the bible advises us to treat strangers with brotherly kindness.
* The virtue of Gemilut Chassadim is so intrinsically a part of Judaism and Jewishness that “if a person exhibits impudence, cruelty, or misanthropy, and does not perform acts of loving-kindness, one should strongly suspect that he is of non-Jewish descent; for Israel, the holy nation, has the three distinctive traits of `modesty, mercy, and loving-kindness’ (Yevamot 79a).”

These are just few examples of some of the major religions, but the problem is that even there, we tend to monopolize to the extent that governments are scared or in some case even petrified to accept any religion in the hallway of governance to the point of banning religion in any decision making facets of it. What is the aftermath? Well we have dishonest and exceptionally unkind people with unkind words running our governments utilizing ones deep connections to their moral values against any culture or religion they don’t understand. We have started selecting politicians based on their financial success rather than their moral values thinking this will be the beginning of salvation we require in this world.
